Rock and roll lovers are prepared to have a little rhythm and a lot of soul. The Grand Funk Railroad will showcase its American Band Tour and chart-topping hits at the Rivers Casino Pittsburgh's Event Center on Friday, March 22, 2024. The show time is 7 p.m., and tickets are currently on sale starting at $19.

Known as the "American Band," the high-energy quintet will put on more than 40 shows across the U.S. in 2024. The Grand Funk Rail Road includes the original, founding member Don Brewer (vocal and drum, writer and singer), and bassist Mel Shaher ("We're a American Band") 파워볼사이트

Dawn's joining of Mel is a true "All Stars." Singer Max Carl is a rock veteran of 38 Special. Max wrote and sang "Second Chance," the biggest hit of 38 Special, and was the co-founder of California's legendary Jack Mac and the Heart Attack. Dawn calls Max the "blue-eyed soul singer on Earth."

Lead guitarist Bruce Kulick is best known for spending 12 years at the KISS, along with Michael Bolton, Meatloaf, and Billy Squier. (KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley were influenced by Grand Funk earlier.)

Kibodist Tim Cashon received his master's degree in music from the University of Miami. His credits, affectionately called "Dr. Tim," include his work with Bob Seger, the Silver Bullet Band, and British soulman Robert Palmer.

"We can't wait to reverse the Grand Punk Railroad and experience the energy the band will bring to the event center," said Shannon Redmond, vice president of marketing. "We can't wait to relive the iconic group's musical journey when they perform a classic hit in March."

Throughout their careers, Grand Funk has 19 chart-topping singles, eight Top 40 hits, and two Number One singles (both "We're a American Band" and "The Loco-Motion" have sold more than a million copies). The group currently accumulates 13 gold and 10 platinum records, with more than 25 million record sales worldwide. The most recent Gold CD award was given to the band for their biggest hit package, "Grand Funk Railroad the Collectors Series."
